Managing Director (UK Office)

Roger started making shoes in Rushden, Northamptonshire in 1983. His family manufactured 30,000 pairs a week which included Safety Footwear. In 1988, he could see shoemaking in England was on the decline so he separated from the family business and set up his own safety footwear wholesaling company in England to service the English and Irish markets. Initially the safety footwear production was all in India and in 2003, the majority was moved to China mainly due to the desire to manufacture safety footwear that did not look like safety footwear and would allow him to push the bounds of fashion in the safety market. In 2009, Asia Tek was founded to manufacture footwear on behalf of household brands.

Sales Manager

Camilla entered the shoe trade in 2013, learning the trade through work experience at Sterling Safetywear Ltd, Screwfix Ltd and Church’s as well as spending few months in China to get a hands on experience of the shoe business as a whole. Her months in China included everything from design to quality control to discussing pricing. Camilla joined Asia Tek in 2014 as a fresh face to build up the client base.

Senior Manager – China office

Cathy joined the shoe industry in 1998 as a developer for Yue Yuen. From this role it has allowed Cathy to work with all types of footwear and develop for all sort of brands such as Converse, Ryka, Callaway, Etonic and Hi-Tec Brand. Her last role before joining us here at Asia Tek was Development Director of the Magnum Team. Cathy has been with us at Asia-Tek since the start and now has the role of our senior manager which she handles alongside development.

Senior Developer

Limei worked in the Liyuen Group covering developing and merchandising. Limei has over 15 years experience in footwear and is familiar with the international trading procedure and the process of shoe making, especially safety footwear. She communicates with foreign customers to understand the development/confirmation sample details, order changes and order/packing details clarification etc…. Communication with factory on sample/order and business requirement, controlling the schedule and quality of samples. She also monitors factory capacity, coordinating problem solving across costing, development & confirmation samples department and shipping department. Limei has also been with us from the beginning and is based in Wenzhou.

Quality Control

Jennifer has worked with many high profile brands as a Senior QC inspector. She has worked with Timberland and Reebok before she joined Asia Tek in 2017.

Quality Control

Selina before joining Asia-Tek worked in Baohong and Zhongshan Pouyuan factory as a Senior QC inspector. She joined Asia Tek in 2018 and was temporarily based in the Philippines overseeing our production there.
